By the end of this course, the registrants will be able to:

1. Have confidence in reading normal mammograms by recognizing the four basic building blocks through correlating their subgross (3D) histopathology images with the mammographic presentation.
2. Be familiar with the typical mammographic tumor features (imaging biomarkers) of the different breast cancer subtypes according to their site of origin.
3. Appreciate the most frequent locations of breast cancer on the mammogram.
4. Practice an efficient and effective technique for reading mammograms.
5. Understand the value and need for the multimodality approach to screening for breast cancer and working up suspicious mammographic findings.
